Use of Google Analytics
This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. ("Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", text files stored on your computer, which enable an analysis of your website usage. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is generally transmitted to and stored on a Google server in the USA. However, due to IP anonymisation being activated on this website, your IP address will be shortened by Google within EU member states or other parties to the Agreement on the European Economic Area before transmission. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transmitted to a Google server in the USA and shortened there.
On behalf of the website operator, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, compile reports on website activity, and provide other services relating to website and internet usage. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other data held by Google.
The purpose of data processing is to analyse the use of the website and compile reports on website activity. Based on the use of the website and the internet, further related services will then be provided. Processing is based on the website operator's legitimate interest.
Data Deletion
Data processed by us is deleted or restricted in accordance with Articles 17 and 18 of the GDPR. Unless otherwise specified in this privacy policy, stored data will be deleted once it is no longer necessary for its intended purpose and no legal retention obligations apply. If data cannot be deleted due to legal obligations, it will be restricted in its processing, meaning it will be blocked and not processed for other purposes. This applies, for example, to data that must be retained for commercial or tax reasons.
According to legal requirements in Germany, personal data must be retained in particular for the following periods: 10 years under §147 (1) AO (for tax-relevant documents) and 6 years under §257 (1) HGB (for commercial correspondence and other business-related documents).
