Photographer Nicolaus Schmidt shows New York from an unusual perspective. A new life form of city flyers swirls through the street canyons of the megacity. In the midst of the hustle and bustle, living sculptures seem to come from another temporal dimension. This photo book, also an urban photo tour through New York, shows breakdancers from the Bronx and Brooklyn who see the city as their stage, like the two young dancers who perform their adventurous jumps during the frenzied journey of the express trains in New York's subway system.
