€33,61

David Bailey, born in London in 1938, inspired the swinging playboy photographer in Michelangelo Antonioni’s 1966 film Blow-Up. By 1960, he had become the first celebrity photographer, renowned for his work in Vogue and his connections with actors, musicians, and royalty. Influential books include Trouble and Strife (1980) and Rock ’n’ Roll Heroes (1997). His Box of Pin-Ups (1964) introduced a close-cropping technique that revolutionized fashion photography. In 1973, Bailey collaborated with actress Anjelica Huston for British Vogue, which is chronicled in this volume titled Is That So Kid, a nod to her father, John Huston.
