Case Study Homes is actually a sketchbook. In 2008, Peter Bialobrzeski photographed urban structures as part of a project in Manila. A slum settlement between two container terminals was only to become the location for a few pictures. They lay dormant in the digital archive until the fall of 2008. They pay tribute to people's desire to create a home for themselves. The will to survive and creativity manifest themselves in the structures of these shelters built from the refuse of civilization.
