In 1967, photography student Timm Rautert met Josef Sudek, the renowned Czech landscape and still-life photographer. They quickly connected, and Rautert began documenting Sudek's life, capturing moments in his studio, home, and during walks in Prague. This series, set before the Prague Spring, marked the start of Rautert’s career focused on portraits and work environments.
